Michael graduated from the University of Georgia, earned a master’s degree in economics at NYU, and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. He has also served as an adjunct professor of economics and actively publishes his research in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Wealth Management, the Journal of Investing, and the Journal of Index Investing.

Michael is a frequent commentator and invited speaker in TV and print financial media, including Bloomberg, CNBC, the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Barron’s, and Business Insider. Prior to joining Mill Creek, Michael was a Managing Director at UBS, where he headed the Investment Strategy team and was responsible for providing asset allocation and market advice to the firm’s clients.īefore joining UBS, he worked in various investments roles at Lehman Brothers and Barclays and as a research fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research. He is responsible for managing the investment team, overseeing manager due diligence, and asset allocation decisions. In his role, Michael leads the firm’s Investment Strategy and Communications business units. Michael serves as Chief Investment Officer of Mill Creek Capital Advisors, LLC and is a Principal of the firm. Josh is an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and Chief Executives Organization. Josh co-founded and serves on the board of the Scarlet Knights Wrestling Club & Foundation, which supports The Rutgers University wrestling team. Josh serves on the Board and Investment Committees for The Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA), The Philadelphia Orchestra and Westtown School (Westtown, PA). Josh serves as President of the Board of Directors of The Hillside School (Marlborough, MA). from Rutgers University and an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University. Previously, Josh worked at Quantex Microsystems and he served active duty in the United States Navy aboard the carrier U.S.S. Prior to co-founding MCCA in 2006, from 1998-2006 Josh was a Principal at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co.
